News and Nightmare Fuel

Greetings! It's been quite a month! As I mentioned in my last post, I participated in Camp NaNoWriMo this July and I broke my target word count! During the little break I took from writing WITCH, I was able to finish two drafts from my novel series and I've started working on the second draft of another. Going forward, I plan on dividing my attentions between my novel and The Lyvenia Series. Monthly updates are probably going to become the norm because it's a writing schedule that works for me. The good news is that I was finally able to update my photo editing software (I use PaintShop Pro X7)  which means I can edit my pictures again!

I am very excited to have uploaded Chapter Twenty-One of WITCH! We are now entering the home stretch of the story. The climax will play out in the next two chapters. I can't believe I've made it this far after all of the challenges I've faced in the long duration of bringing WITCH to life. To celebrate, I have some behind the scenes pictures to share!

Here is a blooper pic of Corynne with her head impaled on the bars of her front door. Keiry is behind her throwing a fit because she can't get through the door to deliver her dire news to Corynne. That looks so painful!

As I've mentioned before, I don't always use the babies that my sims actually have to play their offspring. I planned for Ivaine's second child to be a girl, the Princess Viletti, who will be a MAJOR player in the future of the Lyvenia Series. However, the game had other plans. This is the baby that Ivaine really gave birth to. It's a boy and he looks like Lothar. Isn't he cute?

This is Viletti all grown up! I think she's one of my prettiest sims. (Oops... spoiler.)

And, last but not least... have some nightmare fuel!

Keiry looks like she's in serious need of an exorcism. When she turned her head and looked at me, I actually jumped.

So that's it for this update. I just want to say how thankful I am for all of my readers and your wonderful comments. Also, I want to give a big ol' thanks to those of you who stuck with this story throughout all the junk that happened in between writing it. But whether you're an old reader or a newcomer, a vocal commenter or a lurker, I want you to know that your presence is so welcome here and I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for reading my story. You're awesome! :)
